Keys Dive Sites: Conch Wall Deep & Snapper Ledge

I love a good drift dive. There’s nothing better than just being one with the sea and going where the current takes you without any thought on where the boat is, turning the dive, navigation, etc. For that hour you’re one with the ocean.

If you’re coming down to the Keys to dive, I highly recommend getting on a drift dive to Conch Wall. Rainbow Reef has been running trips fairly often now that they have more boats after acquiring Ocean Divers. It’s one of my favorite dives.

The wall is deep, bottoming out at over 100ft so you’ll need at least the deep cert to go. If you’re not deep certified yet, this a great place to do it! If you are, grab your SMB and get out there! Here are some highlights from just two dives this past Friday: one on Conch Wall Deep and the other on Snapper Ledge. Conditions were awesome! This is exactly what I moved here for!
