Stay Safe Mid-Atlantic!

Where is home? I have a few now including the mid-Atlantic where I spent 11 mostly happy years (winters aside!) in a funky little neighborhood by the Chesapeake Bay. My old stomping grounds are in Florence’s path and I’m hoping she just goes out to sea! No one wants what’s she’s offering!

Today marks the one year anniversary of Irma’s total pummeling of the Keys. Irma was hands down the worst storm I’ve ever been involved in. We’re still cleaning up a full year later so I know all too well what a strong hurricane means for a region. We were down in Big Pine this past weekend and her mark is still very visible.

I’ll be glued to the weather updates this week. I was actually supposed to travel up there for work today but I postponed for two weeks. I’ve had my fill of hurricanes for a while …. forever really.
