Found! Yellow head jawfish :)

Irma swept most of the sand from the reefs leaving me worried about my favorite sand dwellers.

After 6 hours underwater I finally found a single yellow head jawfish living in a rocky hole on French Reef. Pre-Irma, I could easily find 20 of them in an hour on French so their numbers are way down but finding it gives me hope others survived and they’ll recover. They are absolutely one of my favorites!
