You never know what you’ll see on any given dive! This was just a routine dive at a site we like to go to in town. If we had a home dive site, this would be one of them. There are three frogfish there that we’ve been visiting for a while that recently spawned, Read More

We’ve been finding so many gorgeous little froggies lately! I love discovering new ones just as much as going back to visit past finds to see how they’re doing and what they’re up to. They’re such fascinating little fish. They’re also a great (and much needed) distraction right now. If you’re on Instagram or, Read More

I was gonna write something about the current state of things today. I drafted and deleted, drafted and deleted. But I don’t really don’t know what to say at this point. The past month has been a lot to deal with. So instead, I thought I’d share with you how we’re distracting ourselves here, Read More

The blog has been pretty quiet lately. We’ve been busy and I’ve been spending my very limited amount of creative time (something I’m working on fixing) working on a few other projects. We’re not in the Keys anymore but that doesn’t mean I don’t miss my paddle loop! I wrote this while we were still there but clearly didn’t get around to posting it. The Keys are an aerial photographer’s dream come true! Endless islands surrounded by turquoise water provide an idyllic backdrop for any drone, Read More

I’ve never found a flatworm of any kind diving in Bonaire before this trip. I was looking at a juvi spotted drum (love them!) and right next to it was the flatworm! So excited! We only had a GoPro with us but we still managed to get some decent footage of it. (video and, Read More

We just returned from four fantastic nights aboard the Juliet; a sailing & diving charter. We’ve never done a live-aboard before. We’ve always favored land-based accommodations to explore topside when we weren’t diving and now I see we’ve overlooked an awesome way to spend a few days. (video and pics to follow)

Winter is over. We’ve had to run our AC all day the past two weeks and the water temp is back up to 80. I absolutely love winter here and I’ll definitely miss it! I finally found a winter that I like! The weather is fantastic November through March. I love that we only, Read More
